Yes, wouldnāt it be nice to have someone in the team that could take it up to the opposition physically.
I see one of our players got creamed on the wing yesterday and once again in true Essington fashion, no one remonstrated.

Could this guy be the next Stringer type??
Plays forward, and has a run through the midfield to bash his way through a contest.
He isnāt as skilled a Jake, but he could play a similar role.
He is a lot more bash & crash.
Perkins will be the next stringer type.
Voss is Patty Ambrose II. But more skilled

From what I saw of him in the VFL he looked like a key position player more then a mid. He had a real commanding presence as a marking target and just kept making leads.

Perkins will be a full time midfielder. Perhaps gets a few minutes in the forwardline to buy a goal.
I think the more big bodied players who can play through the midfield and forward are rolled gold.
@THE_DON1 can confirm. But Iām very sure he played a lot of midfield time in his 18ās year.
He was a utility, who could slot in anywhere.
Not sure he has the agility/explosiveness of Stringer, but I do like that theyāre giving him some midfield time in the VFL.
Gotta love the way he goes about it, a joy to watch.
Surely gets a debut at some point this year.
