And no doubt he’d be fantastic…until he moved to Essendon. All these guys have been highly recommended with great CVs.
We probably Essingtond Caracella haha
Our soft tissue injuries are Stewart, Stringer, Langford and Snelling. Langford and Snelling are two of the most professional players at the club.
We have copped a few ankle injuries, but in generally in game and to be expected given the nature of the sport.
Carlton, Collingwood, Geelong, GWS and West Coast also have pretty decent injury lists. Port, North and Saints too. It happens.
I’d like to apologise to Blitz for getting too excited about a player.
And so it continues……
I bet injuries at those clubs are to non 22 best players
Ok back to the pile he goes. Who’s next?
They are not, but also, what’s the difference if we are talking about a perceived increase in injuries due to mismanagement?
Wouldn’t such mismanagement occur across the list whether they are best 22 or not? Also, the beginning of this discussion was based on Voss being injured, who at the moment is not best 22.
Sometimes you just get unlucky.
Sure injuries happen. But we’ve had the last 5 years decimated by injuries. That doesn’t happen.
Thanks mate!
The recurring injury cycle just keeps going and going and going…
Spongey floors are to blame.
Should be replaced with hardened concrete and scoria…
Redman mightn’t have a problem. Possibly just being managed
Settle down Nino.
(a) we don’t know what the issue is
(b) we don’t know it was from training. You may recall he played on Sunday. Maybe it happened then
What doesn’t happen is a good run with injuries. Ever.
The decimated by injuries is 5-8 clubs every year. Maybe even more. We’re just in the “decimated by injury” group far more than would seem our fair share.
The last time we had a good run… probably 2000.
We had a pretty good run in 2017. Have had a horrible run ever since
Literally can’t remember the last game we’ve had our best 22 on the park
Stress injury to his foot. So… weeks, months. Who knows?

Spongey floors are to blame.
Should be replaced with hardened concrete and scoria…
Good for rhythmic gymnastics. I hear Martin loves them
l Nino some of us here @ blitz get injured getting off the lounge and going to the fridge…
so if we dont go hard at training you dont like that
we go hard at training get injured you dont like that
easy we dont train…
theres people breaking down every session around the world as we speak in every sport.
HAve you ever trained on a specific program at the elite level then youd know what the parimetres specifics that go into it all…
Ah…so just the usual Essendon stress fracture that it is mandatory for each of our junior players to get in their 1st or 2nd year. It’s in their contracts.
