Former #40 Will “Snello” Snelling

That’s certainly what Dodoro said. It doesn’t match with what I thought the situation was, but I’m going to assume our list manager has a better understanding of the rules than I do, just for my own peace of mind.

Nek minute, Essendon fined for breaching the rules.

I can’t follow Dodoro’s logic on this.
McNeice has been elevated from CatB rookie onto the main list to replace Mutch, who was placed on the LTI list.
When Mutch is available again, either McNeice returns to CatB and becomes unavailable for senior selection, or we can keep him on the list and by placing someone else on the LTI list.
We have 3 LTI in additions to Mutch - Joe, Smith and Draper (the fact that Draper is CatA rookie makes no difference, he is still on the list and catA rookies are available to be selected).
Mutch returning would take one spot, and McNeice could remains on the list by Mutch taking one of the 3 LTI spots.
That still leaves 2 spots. So taking a second pick in this draft would not have prevented Mutch returning and McNeice remaining elevated.

LOL at people thinking the AFL list rules are properly documented or make sense. A dangerous assumption!

As DJR said people on here are assuming that the rules make sense. The reality is though that most of the clubs struggle to make sense of them and all the clubs consistently go to the AFL to clarify if they can do something or not. It’s a like a revolving door to the AFL: “can we do this?” AFL: yes or no we will get back to you.

A few other clubs also freed a spot on the list and then didn’t take a pick or two. Most likely they hit the same sort of issue, they may have thought it was ok then the AFL said no afterwards.

I can’t see the grass, but he looks pretty tall in the Hangar.

He must be so rapt having this opportunity, and coming off some career high games in stats in the SANFL, has to play.

Short Arms.

Disappointing that he has been given this great opportunity and then goes out drinking all last night.

So we recruited a guy with vertigo?

I don’t get the Colyer comparisons, Colyer was never a good tackler or defensively - far from it.

Marks at the lowest point.
