If he is delisted on 0 games, he is rehabbed and supported by the AFL for a year (I think).
If he’s delisted and played any game, he gets support for life.
You can’t audition these kids, it isn’t the SSP. And he had kicked 21 goals in his last 6 WAFL (senior and reserves) games.
As @Humble_Minion said, the AFL runs the medical test and didn’t identify the issues.

Perhaps his back stress issue hadn’t resolved to the Clubs satisfaction. He appeared to be talented so I can only assume his chronic injury cycle is deemed too significant or ongoing to warrant more time.
