Pretty flat if he’s gone , was really hoping he’d be the long term 2mp replacement we desperately need, I just can’t see how we improve next year running with known quantities already on the list.

More back surgery.
That’s one hell of a curse.
Hopefully he can get back on the park and get a second chance in time.

He was already going to be hard pressed to keep a spot, but with more surgery, it becomes an easy decision sadly. Best of luck Jaiden!
It better be the back surgery that finished him off because not taking a chance on a key fwd who plays a position that only Caddy has any potential at out of our whole list, makes zero sense.
Im sure it was the fact that our key forward stocks are fine, not the injuries
He had some talent, it’s a pity it didn’t work out.
Sometimes, a player’s body just won’t stand up to AFL footy.

We did take a chance on him. It didn’t work out.

He’s played 1 VFL games and a handful of WAFL games and in two years due to injuries.
Barely had a pre-season.
He also had the two Covid years of restricted footy as soon as he became draft eligible.
He was worth giving a go at the mid season draft.
He got his 18 months and struggled to get on the park.
That profile alone is enough to consider cutting your losses and moving on.
I have no problems letting him go, tracking him for the next 9 months and see if he’s worth giving another shot at next years mid year draft.
