Former #8 Ben Hobbs

Lacks pace, footskills and height.

Unless hes playing in the guts, there is no point keeping.

I’m in the keep camp. I would delist or trade other mids before Hobbs. I don’t think he ever becomes more than a fair player, hopefully he gets more midfield time.

If you drafted Greeves he’d instantly be replaced

He isn’t good enough to be a first choice mid and he he isn’t flexible enough to be anything else. There just isn’t much of a ceiling imo. Trade.

He almost instantly should lose his spot in the team next year to sweid or Huss and arguably shouldn’t be in the side this year.
May aswell try and find him a home and get a 26 pick

Won’t be there next year. Of that I am certain.

Do you have any information on it?

Nothing other than my observations and reading of the tea leaves.

The 2021 draft is looking more and more like a mega-draft, an absolute gold mine in the top 30.
And we got … Hobbsy.

He is a footballer.
Maybe Dodoro thought “Recruit what you see not what you imagine”.

Yep we came out of that draft with Hobbs, Lord and Garrett FKN mcdonagh.
Just about every club came out of that draft with a decent player

Except Disco imagined he was a bbm

In the interests of accurate history, the vast majority of Blitz opinion was dancing in the streets about Hobbs falling to us in that draft, with a side note of mocking Port and Richmond about it.

Yeap, it’s with the obsessiveness of draft rankings. I believe we would of drafted Sinn if he wasn’t there.

My memory was RFK made that dumb comment, not Dodoro
