Former #9 Dylan Shiel - from July 2022

The coaches are to blame for the selection.

However, Shiel is responsible for his output on the field when selected. He chooses when and if he goes, squibs contests constantly and is lazy when it’s not on his terms

Set the tone with his first kick inside 50.

Missed the game, what’s his injury?

Gotta pump games into Shiel.

Very insightful Blitz, many thanks.

There didn’t seem to be an injury but at one point he was getting his calf’s worked on during the broadcast.

Thanks mate. The AFL app has him listed as injured.

If he’s injured then this is tastas opportunity to grab his spot

Bless you, Nino…

Scott said he only had Cramp.

but he was off the whole last quarter.

Yeah I did see that but I honestly don’t know what it was it was never mentioned.
Could be hamstrings or calf but he honestly didn’t bend over to try and take a ball all day just kept trying dinking little toe taps off the ground that missed most of the time

This is the dylan shiel we saw in the 2021 elimination final vs bulldogs. When the pressure’s on he crumbles and makes stupid, costly errors. This is the guy blocking tsatas and his development, him and setterfield. Open your eyes people they’re both not good enough for the long-term.

Join the club mate I’ve been preaching this and getting shot down all week and told our clearance numbers are great etc.
when I pointed out those numbers are only good because we played the worst sides in the comp was told iam wrong.
Come up against a decent clearance team and we got smacked

I thought he was a deadset liability today. For a player of his experience he fumbles the footy way too often.

I’m just thrilled he’s keeping Tsatas out the side

I am becoming more and more worried that he will secure a contract extension
