Former #9 Dylan Shiel - from July 2022

Maybe only rivalled by “Fabulous” Phil Carman .. :slightly_smiling_face:

Haha those highlights are is if we were bringing in Finn Callaghan now. Genuinely seemed a tap in birdie that this guy would be become one of the best mids in the comp for us.

I will say that breakaway speed and acceleration should be even more of a weapon in todays game, just the decision making, disposal are simply woeful.

He is good enough to be on a contenders list next year, if the Pies weren’t old enough already he fit ok as outside speed, maybe even the crows if they blow it this year and don’t win it.

Teaser to Collingwood was a marquee signing, and outright flop

John Pitura to Richmond was huge at the time

Best of luck, big guns.

Don’t push too many pencils in retirement.

What footy competition did you ever play in ?

SANFL U/17s, before I discovered the devil’s lettuce, apathy and boobs.

Not sure how that changes Sheil’s propensity to panic at the thought of physical contact?

Was probably close to BOG in the win against Collingwood in the second half of last season.

He was too injury prone (wow what a consistent thread through our club) and he never seemed to be able to string a season together. Was, admittedly, very inconsistent.

It’s a no brainer that he has been delisted. It’s the right choice, but I don’t think people should be vindictive about it.

makes zero sense to pick him these past few weeks

Well in my experience only really stupid people don’t look after themselves on a footy field.

Dylan must have an IQ of about 380 then.

Very low propensity, if any.

Very much the right choice given the list management plan that Rosa is trying to execute.

The vindictiveness by some is really unappealing.

That is ■■■■■■■ elite. I cant believe how ■■■■ he was for us after watching that

Really now, that’s just plainly false.

Nope

Did your reception cut out during his Murphy style pathetic fumbling handball attempt on Wednesday?

Certainly not the first time he’s gone to absolute water at the threat of contact.

Bloke should have a sponsorship deal with Depends.

Hardly

Just release man.

Further reinforces my belief of work ethic and fitness at essendon being the major problem.

I do laugh when someone is delisted you get a lot of “he actually wasn’t that bad” posts

No, he really was. Being delisted isn’t going to suddenly change that
