No. It’s a big, wide, good quality road, with good visibility, not a lot of traffic, and a well engineered, very capable high performance car that’s moving quickly, but certainly not blindingly fast, or indeed anywhere near it’s capabilities. If the driver has reasonable skills I wouldn’t call it super dangerous. Illegal yes, uber deadly, no.
It is on new model fuel trucks.
Absolute scum. Will hire a good lawyer and get community service.
Lots down here now working to get their resident visas. Most employed by the big national companies, who never advertise any vacancies but get a nice government rebate, and are mainly drivers. Very bad drivers at that.
Not blindingly fast? You could barely see the car!
The guy whose car it was says he reckons he was going 200, I don’t think it’s that quick but I reckon it’s 150
Finger might come in handy. Won’t be cuddling up to scu mbag boyfriend for a long time.
Overtaking at 200km plus in the left lane amongst mainstream traffic on the Eastern Freeway is dangerous driving.
Professional drivers get killed driving high performance cars driving at relative speeds.
If only because someone might decide to change lanes without any idea of what’s coming up behind. Plus an unhinged, probably unskilled driver.
If the other cars are doing 100, this was doing close to 200.
There you go. Even worse than I thought then
what if someone merges and gets hit by that car?
what if they react after hes blown by then at speed and hit another car?
its so fkgdangerous.
Maybe she’s the supplier
The autobahns successful along similar lines
Wtf
Much safer when everyone is travelling at a similar speed.
Of course it is dangerous, very dangerous
Successful because they travel at speed in the appropriate lane.
Wait………….the guy is more than likely to have (its a secret) mental health issues. What’s the bet his lawyer will play that card?
It is my local area and that speed of driving is super dangerous on specifically that stretch of road.
At that speed, you are past the Bourke Rd entrance to the city and immediately confronting merging traffic entering from the Chandler Highway where much you have about half the cars entering from the Chandler Hwy are moving across to the right had lanes to take exit through Carlton (remainder will stay left to exit at Hoddle St.
A very high possibility a car travelling at such high speeds heading towards the city is going to clean up cars coming in off Chandler Hwy moving across the lanes to head through Carlton.
Yes, the road surface is good and can handle cars travelling at high speeds. That’s not the problem. The problem is there are entrances off major roads about every 1-2 km’s that brings oncoming traffic.
As if we needed any further proof, a mate of mine said his girlfriend’s company has actually done work for his organisation. She has refused to do any work that involves him for years now. Said he absolutely blasted a female colleague calling her a ■■■■ and worthless piece of ■■■■ and much more while he was on a phone call because he tried to get out of paying his marketing fees.
