Can’t think of a time when I was more happy to be wrong.

Does Zerk count as fringe?
yeh i guess so he didn’t play every game last year and with a new coach i guess it’s uncertain if he will start in the best 22 round 1.
I thought he did well last year and deserves to start at full back though.
Deja vu.
Wangenan should be redeployed as a small defender in VFL this pre season to build our depth in this area of the ground.
He is very clean at ground level and will mop up at ground level but also close down space on his opponent.
Kaine Baldwin is going to explode this pre-season and I think we will see a different type of specimen our team misses.
Lord is the youngster on the list but I think looks pretty exciting and may surprise early with a new regime of development focus
I remember early 90s and my old man, bro, uncles and cousins were thrilled when Wangas came across from SANFL and particular his 2nd/3rd year half way through the season against Sydney wasn’t it for those that remember* he was sent to play in defence and that was his history at Essendon.
Gavin always said that a he preferred to play midfield/forward but still think his best footy was as a defender perhaps Tex will have a simlair path
Perkins. He has shown glimpses but 2023 is time for the reveal.
Massimo. Brilliant kick coming out the HB line.
Tex. Will blossom under the return of Tippa.
Tippa. The whole team will lift as a direct result of his return. He is going to thrive working in close with 2MP.
Baldwin. Time to unleash the beast.
Voss. Time to unleash the other beast.
(They probably can’t both play at the same time.)
Peter Summers.
He’s probably on Linkdin, has a great career ahead of him, I think he’ll make it and wish him luck.
