Game Day Thread - Saints in Morwell

Yeah it’s early but there’s stuff you want to know beforehand, such as this from Latrobe City’s website:

Residents are advised that there will be no public parking in the Morwell Recreation Reserve on Saturday; however the following locations have been made available for public parking:

At the former Morwell Caravan Park off Maryvale Crescent (rear of Morwell Recreation Reserve)
Other car parking is available within the Morwell CBD

People attending the match will not be allowed to bring alcohol into the ground, with security in place to check all bags. Dry areas have been allocated.

Tickets are $18 for adults and concession, $4 for juniors (under 15) and $36 for families (two adults, and four children under 15). Tickets are available through Ticketek, www.ticketek.com.au or 132 849 and on the day at the gate.

[If you are a member, it’s $6 for adults.]

Forecast indicates “all clear” come game time.

Min 14, Max 23

Cloudy. Slight (30%) chance of a shower in the morning and early afternoon. Winds west to northwesterly 25 to 35 km/h becoming light in the late evening.

Great to finally have the footy back.

Have a good day and safe trip to all those going… and of course go bomberss!

Can’t wait to see the young boys run around, fingers crossed a few take the opportunity to establish themself in the eyes and plans of the coaches.

I'd suggest catching the train. It's an easy walk from the station.

Good idea, as long as the government hasn’t sold the rails to China.

Thanks David - see you there?

Yep. I expect it will be seriously packed like last time, though not flat-out dangerous as Shepparton’s crush was.

Are you riding there DJR. Heading off soon?

Easy win.

See you there DJR!

Sort of Essendon playing today.
I’m sort of excited!

Looking forward to your reports DJR. Keep them coming. Chips and other reports also eg punching out any crappy attending journos. Thanks in advance. X

Cannardly wait until someone says, ‘Quick Waston, the game is afoot.’
Then again l waited all of Tim’s career for someone to say that, it never
happened and Jobewan is not as fleet as his father.

They replay nab challenge games on afl app. But is at random times. You can watch each quarter individually or match highlights not long after the game is finished. If you go to video menu.

Fox currently showing the second 2009 game where Riewoldt choked after the siren.

Lovett, to Davey, to Lonergan, to Prismall, to McPhee to Neagle… Man we’ve turned our list over since then.

Oh and 2009 version Tayte Pears. The memories are all we have :frowning:

P. S. Hirdy is commentating.

What’s going on. Has it started yet?
