I just hope the Essendon Bombers Football Club and Western Bulldogs (formerly Footscray) Football Club put on an entertaining exhibit of Australian Rules Football for all the spectators, be they supporters of the two combatant football clubs or neutral observers.

I don’t feel as confident as the last couple
of games.
Hopefully we put up a good fight.
A lot relies on performance of Caddy and Reid again.
Wright had that 7 goal game against the dogs during covid. so hopefully he creates some issues up
forward.
Dogs will also out our defence to the test as they are averaging over 100 points in the last 5 games.

It’s not out of the question that we might win. We need our proven players to produce, of course, but much more than that we need all of our large cohort of iffy/maybe/potentially/possibly players to put all the ifs and buts away and actually produce four quarters of hard, fast, attacking, daring football.
Kicks that hit targets. Handballs at waist height, not ankle height. Gettable shot at goal that actually go through the middle.
Will this happen?
Probably not.

I think Doggies may get a comfortable win here but I’m just keen to see our young players continue to get experience and confidence.

But I think we will be competitive, whether we can be competitive enough to steal a win remains to be seen
