THE RED VIPER!
after a length discussion on the identity of john snow's mother mrs ivan decided should couldn't be arsed reading the books again but wanted to start re-watching season 1. I'd forgotten how much time danny spends with her kit off.
Really? You forgot that?itit came back to me pretty quickly
That was one disappointment from tonight's episode...
Dany is very very boring. Might just FF her parts in the episode.
Anyone give the prince a chance against the Mountain? Considering how all the favourites die, I’m guessing the prince will go the same way.

First rule of GoT - don't get emotionally attached to any of the characters.
Khaleesi wanted the D
soo the prince sister - was the wife of the dead king... so does that mean Khalisi (sp) is his niece?
god that was a good episode
Just realised we have to wait 2 weeks for the next episode :(
Red n black eyed – post deleted! Come on man…
Lol, got a PM from Smoten re my post. I thought I was being sufficiently vague, but clearly not. Came back to wrap spoiler tags, but appears no longer necessary.
I will be more careful in future

Yeah Memorial Day is the Monday but HBO gives everybody the night off. I can only presume the numbers were down for Blackwater as that was the last episode they've aired on Memorial Day eve.
-------
It doesn't ruin anything to say that Alex Graves who directed the Purple Wedding has episodes 8 & 10 and film director Neil Marshall is back for episode 9, his only other episode was Blackwater, so that'll probably almost entirely be dedicated to Knights Watch vs. Wildlings.

Yeah, not trying to cause a fuss. Just, obscure predictions tend to get people overthinking things.

The scene last night with Oberyn talking to Tyrion was one of the most powerful they've had. The cinematography was absolutely brilliant.

Apparently she told the producers "no more nude scenes" before the start of this series.
We still get Melisandre though. That's a bonus.

Yep. Brilliant. I don't know if I'm just blind to other TV shows but I can't think of any that can build tension and suspense so well so often throughout a series. Red/Purple Wedding, Oberyn & Tyrion's scene, and plenty of other. I feel spoiled.
Breaking Bad maybe...

I didn't notice the cinematography, but that scene was amazing and when he said
"I will be your champion"
I wanted to jump through the roof!

Nah, she's good. While I was eyeing her off last night I was admiring her casting. She's a sexy woman but comes across as knowledgable and powerful, old enough to be wise and not to be trifled with. It would have been tempting to cast someone prettier or witchier but they just nailed it.

Nah man. The dead king (that the kingslayer killed during Robert's Rebellion) was Aerys Targaryen. His son (and heir) was Rheagar Targaryen, and Robert Killed him at the Battle of the Trident (same rebellion, but before Aerys was killed, so he never inherited). Khaleesi was Rhaegar's sister, so Elia of Dorne (Prince Oberyn's sister, and Rhaegar's wife) was Khaleesi's sister in-law. Oberyn would be Khaleesi's brother-in-law.
This infogram is pretty cool but it doesn't show the Viper
Think we'll ever see Rickon again?
