Gameday vs Fark Carlton - 2024 round 13

And of all the bullshit things that has happened to bombers footy club everyone else honours daniher, inwhich it would have been privvy to be bombers vs dees, but we are on the ■■■■■■■ sidelines sucking eggs.

At the moment, we could kinda do worse

Curnow is having one of his clunk everything, hit every kick, nights.

Fk all Ridley or really any key defender can do when he pulls one of them out. It’s why he’s going to win fkn 3 straight Coleman medals.

yes and TERRIBLY

Need a lot more run and dare from McGrath in the second half. He’s had no influence at all so far.

Blooos have shown better anticipation, it is almost like they are 3 years ahead of us, and are the finished article

I still can’t believe Menzie missed that goal.

Smart coaches know just shut him down. Cox should’ve been playing back tonight for structure

You still watch cricket? Impressive

would love Scott to pull the trigger and throw Tsatas on the ball add some line breaking pace out of the middle.

I’d argue that Curnow isn’t having one of those nights. He’s drop 2 or 3 easier chances for his standards!

I’m sorry, but that simply isn’t true. He lost the first 2 one on ones with Curnow, and he’s been pretty good since.

Name a defender that defends Curnow better. That would be a very small list.

EDIT: there’s plenty else we’re not doing well

Our F50 entries are abysmal.

I think my favourite part was when Carlton backmen almost spoiled each other for the mark three times in a row with no Essendon forward anywhere near it.

I believe Menzie has played quite well in that first half. Looks more suited higher up the ground.

Just like last week

He’s not good enough but we dont have anyone else. Our small forward stocks are horrific

It’s been the case for like a decade now. The coach that fixes it will probably win a flag

Carlton have essentially played a pagans paddock. Lots of numbers behind the ball, rely on Curnow to wheel and go to get players deep in behind the defence.

First step is to win some centre clearances to use the 6/6/6 rule to.our advantage.

2ndly , Jones is running Weitering and McGovern ragged but we aren’t looking for him. We have gone to Perkins more often. Spread their defence by using the hit up player and keep Langford deep.

3rd. Sub Kelly. Tsatas into the centre square. Win or lose, every game he is delayed experience is a waste.

We’ve let their spuds kick goals, and we are playing to their strengths, a stacked backline. We keep bombing it long to multiple Carlton players.
