So that was my point. Bad for gamers.
Competition is good for gamers. Sony are obviously top dogs but they can get complacent sometimes when 2nd becomes too far away. (See PS3 launch). Competition brings out the best in game quality, features, value etc. Look how xbox live made psplus better which in turn made gamepass a thing which led to sony’s instant game collection on ps5. etc. Competition.
Microsoft were borderline irrelevant last gen in console and game sales, library quality and mindshare.
They needed to do something drastic and they have. Jury is out long term as to whether gamepass is good or bad for the industry, but in the short term you can’t deny the value proposition and it’s halting/slowing Microsoft’s slide into obscurity.
Of course it’s easier for me to say this because personally I don’t care about Bugthesda at all.
Its not really competition if only one side has the product.
Remember a lot of people dont care about what console they use, its more about whatever all their friends use.
Exclusives are fine if they are in house but to take away something (a sequel to a huge franchise) is silly to me and to punish a whole sector of gamers is silly. I also dont mind exclusive on a or b for say a year. But never to be released elsewhere? Nah.
Just imagine the real competition you’d get if there was a xbox, sony store, steam and epic store all on every console. So unlimited choice, competition on price then it would be which device runs best for each game.
Ive been trying not to watch anymore of it so i dont spoil it. It looks absolutely fantastic. It looks like a natural progression for the series.
Me too. One of the best things about SoulsborneSekiro games are those ‘first time’
exploration moments when you first encounter a new enemy or miniboss, epic secret level hidden behind a wall or just a beautiful location. Even peaking at a walkthru or wiki is enough to spoil some incredible game moments.
Trying really hard not to watch anymore network test vids….
So i can officially say i have captained an Australian side in a World Cup.
The World Cup of Star Wars: Squadrons was run in the wee hours of sunday morning our time. We set ourselves the goal of getting out of our group and we achieved that. The group stage was played as a best of two against each team in your group. We eventually tied for second with Italy and knocked them out in a sudden death elimination play off to go through (revenge for 06).
Sadly we were knocked out in the quarters by the eventual winners, the UK. The quarters were played as a best of 5 series, we were a second away from putting the fear of God into the UK and taking it to a game 5.
Awesome time had by all. I especialy enjoyed selecting my best 5 for each of the two factions you alternate between …
my game footage from our win in game 1 against Canada can be found here if you are interested.
Such a great game. I loved that once you get your quadcopter and jumper, you can pretty much do all your smaller missions without getting out of the car.
So Ubisoft the first major company to introduce NFTs to their games.
Surprised it wasn’t 2k or EA to be honest.
Me too
I tried to play Watch Dog Legions and really don’t like it
Don’t like how you have to recruits npcs
I love it. I learned you have to work out how the game wants you to play. Don’t just gun and run. Take your time, use the environment. Be a ■■■■ to Albion security and you’ll have fun
Yeah fair enough might give it another go but idk
Best PS4 VR shoot em up game…go?
