do you think there’s some conspiracy here that this person is trying to get a refund for a product they went out and lined up for to buy?

No I just don’t think your life is that bad if your problem is a staple mark.

Just take it back to the store.

it’s a post on twitter

he’s not setting fire to a building

No but I would never make an assumption as to how crazy someone might be on the internet.

Whats he trying to do, get some poor kid on minimum wage fired for stapling a receipt onto a box.

Life is hardly ■■■■■■.

People complain about all sorts of ■■■■ on the internet. We constantly complain about a football club we have absolutely zero control of.

This guys complaint seems pretty reasonable, was obviously looking forward to it (hence the whole midnight release thing). It was enough of an issue that it went on to be covered by “news” outlets
Sounds like they’ve sourced replacements from other stores for everyone affected.

Bit of a weird packaging design from Nintendo tbh. That said I can’t recall ever buying something and having a receipt stapled to the box.

I’m not sure how you can argue it wasn’t damaged by the staple. There’s a series of photos that show it very clearly is. I think it’s perfectly understandable to be pretty annoyed after paying several hundred dollars for a new console and finding it has a staple mark in the screen.

If you scroll down he posted an update saying he got a replacement and commended the store for doing a good job of finding replacements for not just him and his friend but everyone else who had the same issue.

TBH I didn’t see any damage until pointed out.

Just some holes in a cardboard box.

But yeah even then probably just me how much much carry FML has when I read it.

Theres more than a few tucked up lives on the news every day.

Endurance racing online in Mario kart is absolute insane. Can go from first to 16th in a matter of seconds( damn blue shell)

Best I have finished is 3rd

Finally! Finally came first in online endurance racing

Bungie has delayed Marathon indefinitely after a complete train wreck of a marketing campaign. The game was shaping to be an absolute disaster if it was going to release in September this year.
