In 2-3 seasons he’ll be on 1.5m a year, will be swatting off ■■■■■ like flys and won’t give a toss what you think. He’s an absolute super star and we’d eat our own arses to have a player with half as much potential

They’re a different type, but our list is full of Pittards, Polecs and Wingards.

Cox is no good, 10 games will not change anything

They don’t see the counter of that is if we actually became successful we would be the biggest club in Australia we get 60,000 members a year easily if we ever looked like winning a flag it would become 120k.
Who knows though 20 thousand of those memberships are probably pet memberships or ones they give away to keep there jobs

Lucky I missed half the game. Absolute disgrace this mob, nothing has changed

its run like any big org, hit em in the pocket.

First quarter we got numbers to the contest , pressured Port and kept the game from breaking into space.

After that, their ability to break from the stoppages , and often through the front of the stoppages, slaughtered us. Our ruckmen were straight up poor, and the mids collectively were a yard off the pace and completely out of position from that moment onwards. I thought Caldwell was able to win contested ball, but most of the others couldn’t even get to the contest.

A lot of our guys looked slow . No idea why. But Redman in particular looked laborious and without any real spark or acceleration in his game. Perkins likewise. Compare to Rozee. Actually, don’t. No comparison. Rozee was sparkling , rapid and light of foot. We plodded and seemed to be weighed down.

Like Langford last year, end the Martin at half back experiment. We need him elsewhere to give the forwards some remote chance of connecting with the midfield. Give Roberts a debut at half back.

Kudos to Jones and McKay . Both stood up when most others vanished under the kosh.

We need to find some pace , vision and ability to spread the footy away from the stoppage rather than three circular handballs that go nowhere. Tsatas and Hobbs? It’s not too early to give them some better midfield minutes.

And seriously, if Sammy Draper does nothing else, he’s got to run straight lines through contests to allow the ball to drop close to the contest, and take first options. He constantly wanted half a second more than the game allowed and it cost us multiple times.

I’d honestly be impressed if he gave a ■■■■ what I think right now. It doesn’t change my opinion that his personality is that of a ■■■■■■■ soft kok

the recent dune movies have rendered it impossible for bald middle aged blokes to wear all black

Yep. It’s called BZT.

My money is on Dan McPherson doing the “final say” email tonight.

Standard roll out the guy that nobody knows style that Essendon love to role with.

That 2mins of absolute contested carnage and mayhem in the first quarter was such a farken tease

And has been for 20 years, and we overate all of them and hate to trade out players. We aren’t prepared to suck up several years at the bottom to try that and get 4 or 5 top 4 picks. Instead we continually miss the elite talent and come in just a little late

When does Tassie come into the comp again? Might be my new side if this krap keeps up - certainly they will become my ‘second side’ - not that I have one currently (GWS come close, as I’m in Canberra).

Setterfield gets a free ride on here because he is moderately tall but his disposal is a farking liability.
