What happened today is that the older players put the effort in and we were competitive. Which then allowed our younger players the opportunity to showcase their game.
It was a bloody enjoyable game from that perspective.

I thought we went in way too tall but the dees dropped off and let us chip it around. We played very differently but Dees never got out of cruise control. kids playing with some intensity and growing confidence was great to see.
2mp in the ruck gives us better structure behind the ball.
