Today alone I get the feeling I know why. They’re promoting themselves really well and getting their brand and team out there in front of their fans and the game. Their coach is being interviewed on SEN Sportsday tonight, their coach is featured in an article about the Club making finals in the Herald Sun. The club is out there communicating and getting themselves airtime.
Essendon have made finals for first time and nobody is focussing on us. C’mon Essendon, get out there this week and sell yourselves. Promote the club, sell the game, get the fans buying the tickets to ensure “Their ground is full of red & black”.
This is the type of thing Essendon used to be great at, and it came naturally. It can do so much more, and PROMOTE the club, team and players.
