We seem to be the only team (or one of a few) who haven’t progressed to a game plan of …well…football i.e. moving the football by by linking from player to player. We still seems to be playing kick-chasey - see football, get football, kick football anywhere.
Last season Georgia Nanscawen won the best and fairest. Yes, she is a terrier and a goer…but her disposal efficiency must be well below 50%.
So…the coaching staff thought that the person who most represented how they want the team to play, is a player who who does kick chasey and kicks or handpasses the ball to noone, or worse the oppostion, more times than not. I don’t think the coaches know what they are doing.
