Having just gone through a QLD election I can see the exact same pattern happening in victoria in regards to crime reporting . In QLD the crime especially youth crime was being ramped up to an absolute fever pitch closer to the election. Same thing seems to be happening in Vic. No one is saying it isnt an issue but I note the repporting has escalated . Funny how in QLD it has sort of stopped after the election, the crimes are still happening just as much despite the adult crime adult time laws in QLD but the reporting has sigificantly de escalted since the election

I’m still here.
Have worked one year full time in the last 30. Officially retiring at the end of this month. I’ll work a couple of days a week for amusement.
OTOH the band won’t let me retire. Playing next week at the Bells Beach Brewing Co
