Apparently there are conditions attached to a licence for those with disabilities. If they require pre testing to a level , to carry correct food , pull over etc, his culpability could turn on that.
Reportedly he had stopped in the middle of the road earlier.

Maybe the reading at this time was borderline low…but he surely must have been feeling it over the next 40min. I can’t see how he dodges this.

Some phones (my Samsung) decided in the latest update to auto install an update that puts the phone on silent when the car is in motion. Very annoying, but I found the mode and switched it off.

If accurate, slots into second place (across >160,000 events) for Victoria during the period 1/1/2000 to April this year.

There was a 21-vehicle one in 2016 on CityLink.

No, I didn’t know that by memory… but I’ve spent much of the day fixing data in a series of files with that data.

We have had meals at that spot many times and I reckon driving a car on that path would be difficult if done deliberately, and more likely that the driver was in a coma and his foot was on the accelerator.

So if it is classed as a medical event, there must be some damming evidence if charges have laid. In your expert view, has does culpability fit into neglecting to take steps for your own wellbeing and consequently of others.

Always a dangerous spot even when weather is good. School Bus accident there not so long ago.

It is downhill, with a wide sweeping bend coming off a straight stretch where speeding trucks are common. The Myrniong on ramp is also long and downhill and merging traffic are often either going quick or slow trucks causing braking. Speed limit is 110 kph, and probably should be lower.

Western Highway opened but 60kmph due to repair work.
