Was an 18yo P Plate driver already “known to authorities”.

Surgical castration would wake him up and be a deserved experience for him.

The Apocalypse is nigh…

Ensenada, Mexico: The three Mexican men convicted of murdering Australian brothers Jake and Callum Robinson and their American friend Carter Rhoad have each been sentenced to 158 years in prison.

If only they had committed the crime in Australia. Here they would probably receive a 10 year sentence with a non parole period of maybe 5 years with the bleeding heart judge noting that they had unsettled childhoods.

No.

They wouldn’t have.

Let’s trade the Australian legal system for the Mexican legal system and see how that works out for us.

I’m gonna guess some of this is political and I’d be interested in a country like Mexico with its gang/cartel problems just how the prison system works. Ie time served etc.

In Oz it would cost an absolute fortune to hold people to life imprisonment.

Our crime rates are significantly lower. So it ain’t sentencing/punishment which correlates to a safer place.

Dislike.

Consolidation of brewing operations is often a precursor to homogenising the brew and making it less distinctive, for good or bad.

Beer’s farked.

Bad in this case. West end was offshored to Qld, couldn’t tell you if it’s better now.

Couldn’t be worse, but if anyone could make a bad beer terrible it’s Queenslanders.

Must be inefficient to truck all that Torrens water to Queensland to give West End its distinctive “taste”.

Southwark is nectar of the gods and used to get their water direct from the Torrens at one stage

  • NSW are just disappointed with the costs blowout.
  • Vic gets a royal commission.

Notwithstanding this, IMO, all these Infrastructure projects make Australia a better place to live in so many ways are worth the investment.

I can’t imagine we’ll even give the ambassador a hard word.

Why would we?
American companies hack, French companies hack, Chinese companies hack and we don’t drag the ambassadors in for strong words. Why should we for a company based in Israel?

Maybe we should call them all in then.

If only we had a PM with some cojones.

Hacking official government agencies is a bit more than just “industrial” espionage.
For sure when China does it, and the evidence is as clear as this, the ambassador is wheeled in.

Israel is currently cleansing another ethnicity in plain view and is a criminal rogue state. Probably best to keep an eye on, and maybe a hard word for the ambassdor
