Conditional on Hamas disarming and grasping this chance of course ..

Hamas will never disarm. A Palestinian state will not change anything.

Will be interesting to see if it makes any difference. Could end up like an IRA scenario with Hamas bombing people for years
Or Israel willy-nilly bombing the Palestinians out of the region.
