Tehran viewed the memorandum signed with the US as merely an attempt by Washington and Tel Aviv to ease pressure on the global economy and buy time for a larger-scale attack in the future.
Therefore, Tehran has spent the past two months preparing for larger-scale military action.
According to Arab intelligence agencies, Tehran is in contact with militants from Yemen and Iraq to prepare its forces for a wider conflict and increased costs for the US.
