Well Geert Wilders has won the dutch elections, new PM.
Did he form government? I took it as him getting about 30% and needing a few other parties to form a coalition.

Yeah, I think it has a lot to play out. European politics is messy, so I’m not going to guess beyond that.
Sounds more like forming a coalition which he will do with the other conservative party.
Its a very strong conservative result. Him as PM will be interesting to say the least.
A dutch trump but rather a bigoted intellect rather than a bigoted buffoon.

Geert Wilders’ far right Party for Freedom got the most seats – but that doesn’t mean he will necessarily end up in government.
A GreenLeft-Labour party alliance (GL/PvdA) has 25 seats, and the Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD) is at 24 seats. Put together with the New Social Contract (NSC)‘s 20 seats and D66’s 9 seats, this type of grouping could have 78 seats – a majority.

Not good … bit out of the blue. Eejits involved and thankfully no one died so far I hasten to add … right wing opportunists.
Worry is such events are becoming de regueur in Europe at the moment. Ripple effect from the Russian push maybe, but it harks back from years ago. Europe has to and I must underline, has to remain united for world peace.
Italy … Netherlands so far. Hungary are completely dodgy. It’ll only take France and Le Pen and we’re into a major sea change over this way.
