Has anyone mentoned Leisure Suit Larry ? Unsurprisingly always my favorite video game.

If anyone is handy, bored and motivated, making one of these with a Raspberry Pi and any craftsman skills would be an incredibly fun isolation project. Would cost < $100 worth of tech hardware + whatever you make the cabinet out of and you could have literally every arcade game in this thread on there.

Had what was meant to be a short segment on SEN today about Pinball Machines and it pretty much morphed into this thread. It took over most of the footy talk and would of kept running all night. It’s amazing how much Pinball machines, Arcade games and where we played them were such a big part of our lives.

Had a massive meet up last weekend in Hobart with the crew, started at a previous house then went to this private setup then on to Replay bar. Started at Launceston (Inceston) for the drive at 0900 and didn’t finish until 0230 in Moonah

Actually had my first pinball injury, been suffering pains in my right leg groin side, went to the chiro as the pain was getting bad, apparently we worked it out, forward lunges for 13 hours is not good, so if you are going to play pinball for 13 hours change legs

A few more photos from the night, the first couple are from a friends house has 10 really nice machines didn’t get photos of all

and these are from the other room in the warehouse from the video another 20 or so machines in here, amazing collection well over $500,000 of Pinballs privately owned!

Burgertime Colico vision making burgers while running away from gurkins, sausage and onion dudes. You could stop them with Peppers!

Donkey Kong- Everyone knows

Galaga-Everyone Knows

Tomcat F-14- Similar to Top Gun flight simulators where your are the guy killing the enemy and earning medals

Ghostbusters- Based on Ghostbusters hunting down ghosts

Horse Racing-Fun Simulator, Make bets at the start, you control the horse during the race

Donkey Kong JR- Similar to donkey Kong

Space Fury-Space ship shooter

There was also a game I remember about controlling a craft through a pipe works, but can’t remember, I was too young.

But 2 years later when Retreat, Pacman, bubble bobble came about it out these game to shame.
Still burgertime was really enjoyable
