Has anyone mentoned Leisure Suit Larry ? Unsurprisingly always my favorite video game.
If anyone is handy, bored and motivated, making one of these with a Raspberry Pi and any craftsman skills would be an incredibly fun isolation project. Would cost < $100 worth of tech hardware + whatever you make the cabinet out of and you could have literally every arcade game in this thread on there.
That’s because they are actual simulators
Had what was meant to be a short segment on SEN today about Pinball Machines and it pretty much morphed into this thread. It took over most of the footy talk and would of kept running all night. It’s amazing how much Pinball machines, Arcade games and where we played them were such a big part of our lives.
Had a massive meet up last weekend in Hobart with the crew, started at a previous house then went to this private setup then on to Replay bar. Started at Launceston (Inceston) for the drive at 0900 and didn’t finish until 0230 in Moonah
That’s awesome.
Very jelly.
Actually had my first pinball injury, been suffering pains in my right leg groin side, went to the chiro as the pain was getting bad, apparently we worked it out, forward lunges for 13 hours is not good, so if you are going to play pinball for 13 hours change legs
Mate it was awesome and that room is only half of it have more photos
Lol.
Yes, I’ve been told my stance when playing the pinball can get a bit…MA15+.
You should share them!
If you are not a ■■■■ star you are pinball player
No risk no reward. Thrust or be mediocre
A few more photos from the night, the first couple are from a friends house has 10 really nice machines didn’t get photos of all
and these are from the other room in the warehouse from the video another 20 or so machines in here, amazing collection well over $500,000 of Pinballs privately owned!
