Top win for Hannah in a strong LPGA field in Singapore. Final score makes it look close but really it was never in doubt after a stunning start. Looked a bit sloppy in the run home after horseshoeing a pair of late short ones. Bogied the last but had a 2 shot cushion and played ultra cautious as a result. Think her hubby’s on the bag so the caddy’s share stays in the family.

Brother is a massive golf nut. He’s working the Australian women’s open at Koyyonga this week.

He drove over from NSW Friday and got to our place around 11pm

Yesterday he went to the Drummond driving range at West Beach for 2hrs then played a round at Mt Osmond

Today he has a round at Gawler

Tomorrow he’s playing Royal Adelaide (cost $440)

Tuesday he’s playing Glenelg

Wednesday he has Mt Compass at 7am tee time and then Links Lady Bay in the arvo

Thursday to Sunday working the Australian Women’s open

Monday driving home but going to try and have a hit along the way somewhere

Wow…after reading the rest of your post, I’m wondering if you’ve undersold his obsession with golf

My back is sore just reading this

So is Darcy Parish and Usman Khawaja’s…

Wednesday mornings are golf mornings. We need the rain. Peeing down, no golf

Not interested in donning the waterproofs?

1st decent daytime rain we’ve had in a while. Still raining now. Would need a wetsuit more than waterproofs :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

A dozen years since a local won the OZ Women’s Open, which is weird considering how strong the local women have been internationally of late, but Hannah put it right on the weekend. Second in a row for Hannah, our best performer at present, and both times with her hubby on the bag while her regular caddy seeks a US green card. Hubby’s a decent golfer, won the NZ PGA way back I think, but he ain’t Hannah’s level. Hannah is always good, but with hubby on the bag she’s a gun. Know what I’d be doing if I was him.

Yeah, I’d have thought Minjee would have one by now.

And Hannah makes it 3 on the trott. Of course? No, it’s not that easy. They are all significant events, an LPGA event in Singapore and the two euro sponsored jewels in the OZ crown, the OZ Open and PGA. If any Oz golfer has had a run like that it’s news to me. And to be honest, none were ever in doubt.

I was reading about this earlier today…the only comparison they could come up with was when Robert Allenby won the Triple Crown (the Australian Open, Australian PGA Championship and Australian Masters) in successive weeks in 2005

Love Hannah, she a star. Love Minjee too. The male’s do ok too, Min Woo, Scotty, Day. There’s lots to like about Aussie golf the last few years both on and off the course.

All such likeable players, too.

The reason why I don’t watch tennis anymore. Not much too like, I can appreciate their skill but most players aren’t that likeable.
