Golf and related musings

Just remember as you are setting up, don’t lift your head, don’t dip, don’t sway, grip gently, release the club, don’t bend your front arm, don’t over hit, setup with a good posture, focus on getting lag and keep your eye on the ball.

If you do all these things, you have a 20% chance of hitting a decent shot.

Min Woo has left himself a lot to do

surprisingly as the par 5’s are reachable in two for him… but he’s been playing as well as Jake Stringer at the moment

Some awesome golf last night. Matsuyama made the course look easy at times. Also Rahm just amazing from around the green a couple of times.

I’ve thought for awhile, at the very least, we should have an outing or something. Not sure where to do it or how to organise it, though.

If you want a game, just yell out.

I’d be happy to play occasionally, but I should warn you all that I’m a gun.

TOUR Championship on this weekend. Adam Scott the only Aussie in the field which is quite amazing really.

Hoping both Scheffler and Schauffele turn it on being paired together.

Love seeing Castle Pines on TV all week. I used to live about 10-15 minutes from it. Couldn’t play it (VERY private) but I’ve played the public course right next to it as well as Plum Creek on the other side of the interstate.

This is one of the reasons why I love golf.

The vast majority of golfers would make the same decision as Sahith Theegala did here which is a wonderful display of honesty.

My favourite memory from the last President’s Cup here was all the guys walking around taunting Patrick Reed with plastic sand buckets and shovels.

Wilbur Wilde rocked up to the Growling Frog today. Very funny guy and the worst shankar of a golf ball I have ever seen. Called him Ravi Shankar which he thought was very funny.
