The thing is, every single person who has played golf has missed those, especially if there were any stakes. Itās so easy to do, and so infuriating.
(I personally missed exactly that putt (ie 3.5 foot left to right) to finish one of my best rounds ever, and it still burns many years later. At least mine was closer. As it did a complete lap before staying out. That said the stakes were a little less ā¦)
Bryson missed one the same length just before Rory did. Rory just did it twice.

Just home from a trip to the states. Managed to squeeze in one round at Indian Canyon South Course in Palm Springs. Had a great day even though it was touching 45 degrees by the time I finished at 11am!

I bet your score as 12yo was better than mine currently. 
Itās pretty short. And the council have currently screwed up the management of the course. They have a temporary one in place until at least next year. So the current one has committed to the bare minimum. Itās a bit annoying.
But itās 5 minutes from homeā¦and cheap!

I canāt remember much as a 12yo (my guess would be 55 for 9 or so), except holing a 7iron at East Geelong one time. Back when I thought it was a matter of time before I was good at the sport. Iām still waiting.
