I’ve seen 52 of the movies on that list, including some that I wish I hadn’t (French Lieutenant’s Woman ).
I wonder just how many movies I’ve seen in my life…

50 for me.
Only 47 for me, unless you count French Connection II as a separate movie. And I thought The French Lieutenant’s Woman was a brilliant movie.
Well, since it is a separate movie, I did count both.
I preferred The Magus to The French Lieutenant’s Woman, from books by John Fowles.
I have a feeling that you and I would have the same issues choosing a movie to watch as per when @wimmera1 and @Odoyle have movie night at Wim’s house.
I’ve never seen The Magus. I found the book very gripping, but while I was reading it I had no idea what was going on and I still haven’t.
IIRC the penny dropped for me late in the book…but it was early 70s, so IIRC’ing doesn’t happen as regularly as it used to.
No mention of Rififi - the long period of suspense filled silence, including from the audience ( for once).
Any Bunuel films?
Any Truffaut?
Any Chabrol?
l will check my movie library. l recall seeing Rififi once, about 10 - 12 years ago. Bunuel entry coming shortly.
i’ve seen godfather 1, didn’t watch any others
have seen about 4-5 star wars films, but haven’t kept up with the newer ones.
my son is into star wars and we have started watching the movies from episode 1 on a movie marathon,
only watched episode 1, 2 and 6 (then decided to watch them in order)
have watched the majority of recent (great movies) mentioned. 1990+
Saving Private Whatsit
Don’t really wanna see blokes guts all over the joint.
Honourable mention to Inception, Jerry Macguire among others.
I only watch ■■■■ when the fuss dies down so I don’t have to talk about it with other plebs.
Pulp Fiction
Forest Gump
Titanic
84 grand final.
85 grand final.
Do these count?
83-85.
Rocky 1, 2 and 3.
Or something, I dunno.
You’ve never seen them?
No. I haven’t.
1985 is missing the intro song.
“When the outer roars, it’s greatest place of all.”
Oh man. They’re great. I think I’d watch these over the 2000 any day.
That 11 goal last quarter in ‘85 is just party time. (Should’ve been 15)
