No, not that high
Ben Nevis
Not Scotland
Damn, that’s all I know. Mum was born in Shetland. It’s windy and cold. A chick hit on me at Uni complimenting me on my long eyelashes. Apparently it’s a thing with people from cold windy places.
Lake District in Northern England?
Coniston?
Yes @Gnik. Well done. Will give it to you as first in with the region.
It’s Buttermere in the Lake District. Photo taken on a great walk around the lake, with a couple of pubs for refreshment stops along the way.
Coolio. I like the Lake District - it was the highlight of the Coast to Coast walk we did 20 years ago.
This will be easy for anyone who has been there…
I love the Lake District. I must have been at least five times. It just keeps calling me back. Beautiful, rugged scenery, picture-perfect little villages, some great walks and drives.
But the highlight might just be the Derwent Pencil Museum (hello, ladies). I’ve got a photo somewhere of me standing next to the world’s biggest pencil. It said “do not touch” but I touched. Yeah, that’s just the way I roll!
Parliament House?
The lost city of El Dorado?
Pyramid of the Sun, Teotihaucan
seems like it’s not lost anymore…
Correctamundo.
You are up…
Great off-the-cuff spelling!
Knew PotS.
Did have to google the location - that much is true…
This is a great little city. The well-known spots are an easy-tell. What about this less-shown (though no less crowded) angle?
This is somewhere in Europe.
Belgium
Errr… yes. Yes it is.
