I really think getting Coony, Gilles & Qwilt was partly thinking the team would play finals and partly to bring in some players in case half the list were penalised. The club needed to prepare for all outcomes of the Stupid Saga. Hopefully the Waga crap will be over before this years draft so we know how to proceed.

Previous poster nailed it, when it was 1.5 min to go and we needed the go-ahead goal… who was in the middle?
That one moment is exactly why he was recruited and exactly why he is worth #37. These four points could be the difference between a top 4 second chance or missing the 8… either way it helps our club and I couldn’t be happier.
As to the other point about games played… I have always rated a player to a certain club if they win a premiership… something about being part of a Premiership club that is worth more than pure time spent equations. Particularly with Goddard and Saints, I do feel sorry for them that they couldn’t get that Premiership because it means that period of domination they had will probably be forgotten quickly. Already most people don’t put Saints up there with Geelong even though they were right in the mix during that peak.
Maybe it is just me but I tend to remember EFC players from Premiership years better than others.
