Richmond names them as they intend to play them every week. We always name em all over the farken place. Please give me one good reason why. It farken ■■■■■ me. What is to be gained by naming lav in the back pocket, there is no way in fark he is going to start in the back pocket.
I really feel it’s just disrespectful nonsense.
Get over yourselfs and for the love of God name the team straight up. Please.
Anyway, end rant.
I actually like the team they’ve picked. Think it strikes the right balance between the need for talls and just needing more hit up targets at CHF.
Glad to see them, at last, favouring youth over Myers and bags
I know it’s like the least significant issue ever but I agree with you! What on earth is the point?
Do they think that Dimma is going to look at the team and think “wow, maybe they’re going to play Laverde in the back pocket, we need to re-think our plans”? It’s nuts
Shiel=Smith
McKernan > Brown (according to the selectors)
Redman > Goddard
Ambrose > Myers (well, I had to put someone else back)
McNeice = Dea
Begley = Baguley
LAV > Colyer
Whereas Richmond is overtly down, especially experience-wise.
Glad to see both Lav and McKernan back at AFL. But given their injuries, I hope we don’t expect too much of them against the Tigers. Just hope they can play their roles pressuring and bringing ball to ground. Then build form after the Bye.
Laverde has played one good game in his AFL career.
Begley has played 20 good minutes.
I don’t feel good about this game. I just can’t see us snapping out of our current form and knocking off a solid team like Richmond — especially not now that Dustin Martin looks as if he might be fully fit and back in form.
The thing I’m most concerned about is that Belly has a hack to play against, either he slacks off and has a stinker or he dominates all night and his taps get sharked by the tigers. Either way if Ess can find a way to blow an advantage they will.
