Here’s the team - Dreamtime 2019

I think it’s more of a middle finger to the AFL.

Why even make us name positions?

Pointless task that doesn’t deserve to be taken seriously.

What are their numbers? I only know these scum bags by numbers

Donlon (1), Foot (2), Meredith (21)

Does anyone even look at the positions? (Obviously people do)
I just look at the ins and outs and for Sunday games, which of the ins are in the starting 18.

Yes, foot is a ■■■■. Has a weird shaped mouth and a stupid comb over hair cut like he is a 15 year old.

I’m liking the direction team selection is heading.

It might not be the strongest team we could field experience wise, but we’re getting a glimpse of “maybe this will work out” instead of a bunch of guys who have hit their peak and got us nowhere.

Look out Zaka.

Disagree, and I like Bags.
Made some bad errors last week…
1.Missed a relatively easy shot at goal on the run from 40 to an open goal square.
2. Passed off a set shot from 40 to Merrett who had to kick from 50 and failed the distance.
3. Dropped an easy chest mark from a perfectly weighted right foot kick from Shiel.

3 strikes you’re out !

Only 1 tackle also.

Everyone made mistakes. On that logic you could drop most of the team. He’s creative in the forward line and we are sadly lacking creative.

Credit where credit is due.

  • Held the nerve to not rush Mayers back and not drop Parish or Langford.
  • Held the nerve and not drop Francis for Brown. Francis had so many direct goal assist and was fantastic.
  • Having the nerve to drop Bags and bring in Laverde. 8 rounds too late but finally did it.

Great to see Langford, Laverde, Parish and Francis in the same team. Hope they can cement a spot. Redman and Baguley too. Only missing Ridley of the higher draft picks.

Bellchambers coming up against a youngster really worries me. He seems to always struggle against jobbers but raise his game for the good rucks in the comp

If tbell can dominate and give our mids first use, we might be the sneakiest of sneaky sneaking of a chance

Unfortunately for those older guys, they have to keep producing in order to keep their place, particularly with a losing Win/Loss record the team is experiencing.

Youth will/should be favoured.

I’m just happy to see Lav, Lang, Frang and Parish in the same team.

No loss is acceptable but I’d take one a hell of a lot better knowing it was while these guys were in the 1’s instead of continually flogging the same dead horses.

Just win the match.

This one is on Merrett. He called for it and was in a way better spot than Bags. He’d usually make the distance too so you can’t blame Bags for trusting him.

Woosha states that there’s a slight change in structure hence dropping Bags. Guessing we are going for a taller fwd line which Richmond struggles with. This is good during clear conditions. But high chance of rain coming which means our tall fwd line will be absolutely farkeddd.

Indigenous people are very proud of their nation, every indigenous person knows where their people are from.

In one of the videos on the club site that was posted this week Michael was shown addressing everyone.

He said: I’m a Mudburra man, I’m a Tiwi man, and I’m an Essendon man.

That is a very powerful thing to say when you understand the context of what it means on this night, your Essendon people.

Win this game of football for the greatest of great men.

It is almost worth bringing in big T-Bell in my Supercoach this week and chucking captain on him to watch him smash this kid into another dimension hitting a year high 220 SC points!
Burning a trade you say? No way!
DING DONG :bell: time :clock10:

  1. Was really impressed with Ridley this year. composed and looks comfortable at this level. Don’t understand why he isn’t in the team.
  2. Begs and Lav rarely have played well at this level in the few opportunities they’ve had. But I’m ok with giving them a run, cause apart from Ridley- they are the only youngins ready with mature bodies.
  3. Big ask of smack to come back and have an impact, but we don’t have much alternative. Prefer smack over brown.

Overall: whilst I don’t mind the selections (apart from ridley), don’t like our chances. Too many risky “ifs” that must go our way.

Don’t care how it looks.

JUST WIN

But does he speak like a girl?

Wouldn’t be a big game without at least one ump that didn’t like us.

Like the team for the most part, might be a bit big up forward in the wet, but here’s hoping Smack provides a better focal point and less frees than JD.
