I liked last weeks pre game assessment more. This one is a little less specific.
I’m going with, “We’ll beat them 'cause we’re the Bombers and we’re the best!”

My prediction is a tight, congested stop/start game. It worked for North last week and they sure as hell aren’t about to go all open and fast when they look at how we like to play.
When was the last time we actually won a game that was played like that?
We have yet to demonstrate that we can play tight and hard and win a scrap. We also have small bodied mids, Myers being the only exception.
The way to win this game will be to take our chances. They will be few and far between, and we have to nail the opportunities we get.
Scoreboard pressure will be key.
Our backline looked really settled last week.
We’ve got this mob covered.
This so much this…
I agree. I love the way he goes about it and they should be asking for him to match a Devon Smith like effort and I can see him doing it.
We’ve been in this situation a lot of times before where we are expected to win and we don’t, I’ve said it before but there are no excuses today, we should win. I’m very nervy tho
They’ll not be stupid enough to let it be free flowing again. Low scoring slog, they’ll clog up our run and to be honest I think they’ll win comfortably by 3-4 goals. Every year teams do this and we have no idea how to counter other than trying just to run through it (and failing).
The truth is… whichever team actualises the most footy cliches will win this.
Their disposal was genuinely awful last week.
If they play to that skill level we’re gonna be the crocodile.
We’ll kick something like 8.21 today. Raz 1.5
Anyone think General Admission will sell out today and i’ll need to upgrade my Flexi membership?
I’ve never really bothered to lend thought about the Good Friday fixture being Norf’s pet game but has anyone considered that on a day when people rattle tins for a hospital appeal, a few of them are on the take for the club?
North strong in the midfield and high amounts of pressure in forward line last week. Crows lost by mucking around with posession game and chipping it wide on the flanks/wing and not playing good direct footy. Dons midfield play strong direct footy and defenders aware of the kangaroos pressure, Dons win. Personally I am concerned for Goldstein and someone like Mason Wood and Ben Brown turning it on.
We don’t generally play well when being favorites.
This is a test to see if that’s changed.
It’s a beautiful Melbourne day outside.
I hope those birdbrains at AFL house keep the roof shut!
Us by 40+ paying $5.20!! Don’t mind if I do!
It would be nice to pop our cherry at Marvel this year.
We don’t do 10 goal wins.
I found it weird in the EFC article so much was made about Ham being an emergency and coming into the squad…
I’m expecting he debuts and a late change on the card.
