Horse Racing

How great would it have been to be there to witness that. One for the bucket list perhaps.

He was absolutely on song last night, when he’s like that no horse gets near him.

Another Irish win for Aidan O’Brien as he triumphs in this year’s English Derby (Epsom) with Auguste Rodin. His 9th Derby win, just quietly.

Plenty say he has the huge benefit of his wealthy Coolmore breeders and owner backers over at Ballydoyle. But he still has to produce and train them to win out on the track. And he does. Awesome trainer .

Had the schnoze on the sydney cup winner…Then atishu lost by a beez.

I don’t follow horse racing but I’ve found a jockey wearing the Essendon shirt

Unfortunately his name is Blues singer Fark Carlton reference there.

I was going to put money on him but I was too late he finished 9th anyway. Next time he races I’ll put money on him and hopefully he might win

Nice to see the colours abroad! We see a few silks here that are based on footy jumpers; some owners and trainers like to put their team’s colours into their silks.

Sheeds had a horse a few years ago that carried a mix of Essendon and Richmond, crossed red and yellow sashes IIRC.
