Hugh IS This McLuggage and How Many Brownlow?

Cal twomey ranks parish as being a better player than mccluggage when comparing the top end of prospects from this year and last. Only by one though, as in, had parish one place ahead of mcclug in the rankings.

Good indication - only players raked higher over the last two seasons were Darcy, Mills and every communication specialists’ favourite.

Can't escape these ■■■■■■■ puns!

Antler glad you checked into this thread?

yeah, and every other thread too.

You’ll cotton on eventually.

Wonder what Gill reckons. Zero points or is that only if we draft him.

Cal said Parrish and McCluggage were pretty evenly matched. He went with Parrish just ahead because he’s shown more on the inside game so far.

Once he checks into the Hangar he'll be flying.

Must not be explosive if manages to check in.

Despite that the dogs will be sniffing him out.

I’d like that also, but it won’t happen.

Any particular reason why? The club prefer a Victorian or just prefer others skill-set?

Jackets loves taking kids with illness or lack of preseason in the background. It adds a layer of potential upside over and above that already possessed by all kids in the draft. Hooker and Zerrett come to mind.

If Mcluggage is already arguably the best kid -certainly in the frame for top 3 - off zero fitness base…

From memory I think Bellchambers was pretty ill his draft year as well.

I’d love McCluggage at pick 1 but I’ve got a sneaky feeling the club is more into Brodie.

Life’s is a carousel, my friend.

Not a Highway? Damn you tommy Cochrane.

We don’t want THIS McLuggage. We want THAT McLuggage…you know, the one that works for Antler!!

Had a look at footage of The Luggage, Brodie and Ainsworth. Nothing great about the overall skill levels of any of them. Of the three, Brodie’s strength and explosive first 5 metres had me ranking him above the others.

As others have said, Ains improved in the latter half of this season, and the footage doesn’t really do him justice.

Clug is a goal kicking mid, hard to find.

I am starting to warm to Brodie a bit, but I still prefer the other 2 ahead of him for our needs and for what they could become, personally.

Have ruled out Ainsworth on the basis that his manager is Paul Conners. I believe EFC will try and minimise the need for future dealings with him.

We need to think about Adrian’s productivity. At the moment 50% of his job is sitting in meetings with Paul Connors.
