while The Guardian remains impartial to a fault…

Come on…

if actual hard-left voices ever made it to tv, it would kill off around 15-20% of the population via cardiac arrests

the risk for media types is those voices would ask “what the fk are you on about” which would force their audience to actually consider that

It depends on your perspective where impartiality lies. To me, The Guardian is generally impartial, but on a few matters (for example on National “Defence”) it veers a little too far to the right. Of course a notorious right-winger like yourself would consider The Guardian as being too “socialist” for your liking. However, the The Guardian reference aside, I don’t think there’s much for a right-winger to complain about in the article’s view of the political stance of Insiders.

The most interesting short (I guess leftist) bit of video commentary I’ve seen recently was an English 30ish(?) buzzcut guy, asking [paraphrasing]…

‘Who’s buying your mum’s house when she downsizes so she can retire?
It’s not you.
You can’t afford to buy your mum’s house. The house she bought when she was much younger than you are now, so who’s buying it?

So extend that to all the mums and dads right now and know that the children can’t afford to buy at thirty-five what they bought at twenty-five, so…who’s buying them?

And what does that mean in twenty years time?’

Good lord.
But of course this is the left wing’s biggest problem, pushing genuine left-wingers away.
It doesn’t work on me, but I’ve sure as hell seen it work.
Shame it doesn’t seem to work for the right.

Of course it doesn’t work on you. You don’t qualify. Too right.

Listen to Van Badham when she gets to TV. She is a genuine leftwing voice, and not actually a Member of any Party. We have had her speak at a number of our Labor Branch functions and is really worth listening to.

I hope that the heart attacks you mentioned happened, though I do not credit any right wingers actually having a heart.

Go away, idiot.

You don’t think they have hearts. But, You also hope they die…

That’s… An opinion.

I mean…it’s a very pragmatic one.
If all the ‘heartless’ people were to die then society would be better as a result, yes?
Extreme, sure. But no worse than right wingers espouse from a different position every day.

If you’re sitting around hoping thousands of people die, because you don’t agree with them… I would say that is a good candidate for ‘heartless’.

Again, depends on your point of view.
Isn’t funnelling up wealth to (the top 1% is so two decades ago) the top 0.1% hoping thousands of people will die?

LOL. He was referring to people watching Insiders.

Again, pragmatism.
Not a view I share, but definitely not worse than literal right wing policy.

Wow. So conservative people who watch Insiders should die.

Not what I said, but nice try.

No. It’s what BF said, and you are defending it.

Do yourself a favour and read back.

I described it as pragmatic and not worse than the continued funnelling of wealth upwards which, don’t kid yourself, absolutely kills thousands of people.

No more, no less.
If you want to argue with bf, go right ahead.

It’s not pragmatic. It’s retarded.

You don’t wish death on people you disagree with.

I’m saying right wing policy both here and Especially in the US literally does that.

You keep wanting to argue things I haven’t said.
Again, if you want to argue with bf, argue with bf.
If you want to argue with me then argue with what I’ve said.

I mean, for preference, neither, but you do you.
