We need john safran to have a chat to the witch doctor in mozambique get the curse lifted.
Itās concerning these injures are happening, but not sure why this even gets reported. Iām sure similar is happening at the 17 other clubs but itās not really mentioned. Maybe the club could keep the minor injures under wraps a bit better, would help with limiting the pile on a bit.
Lol, imagine claiming Langford of all players is a non-professional sloppy athlete!
Fkn wild.

Absolutely, itās tough on those guys but the sooner we move on from them the better.
Callum Mills now has a hammy, wasnāt even training at Tulla.
Maybe he was just dreaming of Tulla when he pulled it
And maybe match day results could be surpressed and we could all pretend that Essendon are undefeated every season?
Iām starting āBack to the Hillā campaign, I donāt care if itās old, The Hanger has been a disaster for the health of our players and success on field.
Does Kyle have a hardened body? Look at Jack Gunston for example.
Good, one more big scoop of the draft, get rid of Brad and then itās Go Time from 2027.
I can live with that.
2026 hasnāt started yet ![]()
We have to start planning for life without Ridley, Parish and Langford ( Clearly the club is doing this now). Their bodies are cooked and will never be able to run out seasons. Would almost be happy to de-list them and move on ( I know theyāre contracted).
This wonāt apply to the hangar.
But the MCG puts down some different grass over Summer for the cricket season⦠donāt know grass specifics, just that it stays greener in the heat, and it does grip more.
Potentially has an impact on early season/pre season injuries, on the ground.
Caddy isnāt injured, heās moving fine.
Well, not good news, although the Martin update was expected. At least itās only November, which for optimists means there is time for recovery, but for pessimists (ie. Blitz) simply a precursor. Team spots for the kiddies
Looks like it is another gap year coming up for captain contiki Brad Scott.
Heās still trying to workout his best team.
Going into his 4th season.
Great point
This needs to be raised at the AGM
The prudent approach ā and what some other more successful clubs often do ā is to manage these types of players so they donāt have to play the entire season. When youāre playing every week at the speed the modern game demands, especially with recurring soft-tissue injuries, proper management becomes essential as players get older. Imagine how valuable it would be to have these blokes fully available for the eg some big games, while giving them timely rest throughout the season.
