Injury Updates (Part 1002)

That would be valid if these players were playing more than 4-5 games in a row. But they’re not. They are breaking down before they can blame not being rested.

Am I reading something wrong here lol?

Why did you have a crack at that comment?

I think it’s pretty fair given the injuries we have had recently.

I replied to the wrong comment, I’ll delete it now.

We get more injuries in November than most teams get mid-season

Fingers crossed it’s not. Hopefully he has more players to play with on the field.

As Welsh said on @CJohns great interview yesterday, the squad in 2025 were distracted by focussing on injury recovery and injury management, not preparing for a match. Therefore, Scott deserves a deeper list of players to enable him to progress the squad in development as well as building game style etc.

Scott needs to realize that the only way he’s going to save his career is by prioritizing youth, it’s a concept that’s foreign to him.

I’m tipping that we’ll still have our fair share of injuries next year, we’ll finish bottom 4 and the jungle drums will be beating for a better Coach if available.

Barham won’t be there to save him.

So Brad plays more youth in 2026 thus increasing our chances of finishing bottom four but still some how should be getting sacked

Priotising youth to the extent these young guys aren’t being played into chronic injury. They also need experience players around them to be protected and learn.

We can’t have a situation in 2026 like this year where basically every young player is playing almost every week.

Yep.

Clarke was completely gassed and finished the year with sore groins we cant have a repeat in 2026 where every kid played every week.

Play the youth but it needs to be sprinkled in it’s what Sheeds use to do

We also can’t have a situation where we play a 75% fit senior player over a kid that’s ready to go, we know Brad loves to do that.

Since when do Ridley, Parish and Langford play entire seasons?:rofl::rofl:

Principally you have to protect and guide the kids. We played plenty of kids in the back half of last year who were 75% fit, that’s not what we want either.

Play our best side, blood kids as often as possible. What we had to field last year wasn’t optimal for development.

Who ?

Who is this new mysterious player?

Clarke , Caddy both ended year with groin soreness. Perkins also played second half of the year injured.

I still think the foundation is being layed for Hirdy to return. S&C, Solly etc.

2 scenarios

  1. Hollywood movie
  2. Same stuff different bucket

Why would Brad play injured kids not that Perkins is a kid, kind of unforgivable, we had players waiting in the two’s that could have easily covered those 3.

ADJ, Johnson, Geryn, Vigo just to name a few

Because he had 17 players on the injury list. Be balanced.. He had little choice. Wasn’t much Scott could do with the team for the back half.

Only Johnson of that group deserved a game. Vigo was smashed at ruck contests and wasn’t competitive in ruck craft.

I just told you the choices that he had, he had other options, don’t make excuses for him playing injured kids

I don’t agree, sorry Rom.
