Al mate- you’re back again after another and another suspension. You’re the ultimate recidivist.
Why are we?
Do any other clubs let opposition coaches attend their open training sessions?
Im actually not sure lol
Pretty sure he is a player development role anyway, he has nothing to do with game planning or scouting.
I think @alex.f.94 should be on the gate at The Hangar scrutinising these Heppell types
I don’t think that really matters.
Bulldogs don’t seem to like it.
hepp will be helping pies’ players, particularly the younger ones, as best he can develop their footy, but come Anzac day the pies know he’ll be quietly wanting a red 'n black victory.
What is Hepp going to pass onto the pies from a training session? Do we honestly think anything from our gameplan has changed from when he was playing?
“You know how we normally hit targets by foot? It seems Essendon don’t do that. Is that worth trying?”
It’s the optics.
If we were a serious club we would have made it clear he shouldn’t be there. If heppell was serious about his role he wouldn’t be there either.
Guarantee you in a year or two time he will return to the EFC in a coaching role of some description hence why he was there.
