Remember when we were told jones might only miss a month.

Like Kako will only miss a month.

In other stunning news, the sun will rise in the east every day.

Both were known last November!

I always thought there was some sort of gentleman’s agreement between clubs. That opposition clubs can send spies to training sessions, but if they are spotted and asked to leave- they leave

Remember when he was due to be back after the Christmas break? Really hope this is extreme conservatism …

What else would it be though? Young bloke, grown a lot, hot spot on back scan - can have a few months off, no dramas at all

I don’t think there’s any mistruth from the club, but it’s a little deflating to have our top draft pick being behind the 8 ball, even short term. I don’t think he’ll be in senior calculations until round 5 given the VFL fixture & if current guesstimates of his return to full training are accurate.

It’s kind of like opening your presents on Xmas morning, but you need to go buy batteries when the shops open again.

I do agree that it’s a little deflating, however Essendon of old would have had him in full training asap and would lead to 6 months out due to a stress fracture

We’ve got enough shiny toys to be excited about come round 1 with Sharp, Huss and Farrow.

Robey debuting on Anzac Day will be joyous

Essentially has to have a mini pre season when he’s right to go

Nah they always said that would be when he would start running again, mate

Sydney draftee Max King had a hot spot picked up in his back last week- it had progressed to a stress fracture and he is out for three months.

That’s why the early pick-up for Robey is a huge TICK for our new fitness Dept.

Nothing about Robey, Setterfield or the ACL gang.
Another p1ss poor effort from Essendon FC.

Just means they’re good to go?

Still haven’t told us what injury Perkins has what are the club afraid of?

Not hard to put up a list of players and what type of injury they have and how far along they are in their recovery.

Genuinely don’t know, but are other clubs doing this? I haven’t really seen it.

There is no requirement for AFL published injuries lists in pre-season.
