To be more accurate “the next day he presented with awareness”.
WTF does presenting with awareness even mean?
I think that it means he has full knowledge that he is presenting
Erm…
Should we just give Caldwell the rest of the year off? Do we really need to bring him back this or next week?
We could follow Hawthorn’s lead. They have ruled out Jiath and Lewis for the rest of the year.
The Essendon way is to rush them back for a meaningless round 22 or 23 clash (because we need to hit some management KPI) just for them to re-do the injury and immediately be categorised I to the “didn’t get a full preseason” category for 2023.
Ffs. That’s annoying. We want them to be as competitive as possible in their last two games. Ideally even pinch one.
We are the dumbest club in the league.
And then decide that the eve of R1 is a good time to send them in for surgery.
Finally something we’re good at
So Stewart has a foot injury.
Presumably another training injury?
The first recommendation of the review should be to fire Murphy from a cannon.
Sometimes the club website one can differ slightly but here is the injury list released today on the AFL website.
This thread bump gave me a heart attack. Last post was from August '22 and listed Shiel and Caldwell as injured
It would be good if the club could clarify why J Davey is listed as whole season. I thought there were pics of him at goalkicking practice only a week or 2 ago.
Feel for Tsatas. Missed a massive chunk of footy the last 2 years.
I think if it was his first ACL they mightn’t be as over cautious as they are currently being but my thinking is because he’s done 2 ACL ruptures before the age of 18 and they view him as a long term prospect, they will be as extensive and thorough as you could possibly be in strengthening the joint, the surrounding musculature and also just get a big block of conditioning into him before unleashing him.
