It was “no major break” as there was a high chance of a broken leg which is what they were worried about
Makes sense. Just never read anywhere that there was a fracture. I thought he avoided it.
8 weeks for a Jordan Ridley hamstring?
Deal.
The 8 weeks sounds like them being conservative for a guy with a history of injury/ re-injury.
Isn’t that the approach people want them to take?
Yep it’s a great estimate as it’s probably accurate
Hate anyone getting injured. But this is a super opportunity for Hayes. Brad needs to back him for the full 8 games.
So Parish is forever 1 week away?
He’s due for a setback this week and then push it back out another month
it’s not ideal though.
Ben McKay 202cm
Hayes 199cm
Reid 205cm
i don’t think anyone has run with such a tall back 3 KPD since us with Ryder, Fletcher and Hooker all in defence.
or since - Ridley, McKay and Reid
It’s interesting that the AFaiL issue an edit about honest injury lists, and all sorts of things change. Especially the Geelong one and Bruhn (see Geelong thread).
Well if that’s not tall enough we could bring in Laverde and play a resting ruck in the backline?
announce LAV
My son spoke with Lav pre the Roos game in the players/officials under ground car park section of Marvel. I made a wrong turn and a kind lady let us in as we arrived so early. This was pre Ridleys injury and he was confident we would be playing in the seniors soon. Make of that what you will.
YOU CAN’T HURRY LAV
They did this last year.
Lewis Hayes will come in this week, we’ll eventually get belted by one of the better teams and he’ll be the first one dropped for Lav.
You can take that to the bank.
Well unless Laverde head buts someone
My bank insists I pay my mortgage with money. That was a wasted afternoon. Thanks @TempleOfParish
You also use Essington Bank?
Lots of interest but absolutely zero returns.
