High end talent is Reid, Butters etc.

I’d say that’s very ambitious.
All this feels like it’s club messaging telling the media/fans what the problem is and how they are going to fix it so it looks like they are in control when they make whatever changes they end up making.
Seems quite managed to me, including the stuff about Langford.

I was listening to SEN this morning and they had the head of the AFLPA on and was asked specifically about the injury issues at Essendon. He said that there wasn’t any player from the club had come to the AFLPA about it.
I find that very interesting, and wonder how much influence agents are having on this situation. Plus banging on Essendon takes the heat off of the ■■■■■■ product the AFL throws up weekly.

They did indicate they were also talking about Langford, Parish, Draper looking elsewhere. In addition to getting players to join.

Yeah so if they stay the messaging is that it’s a vote of confidence in the club and the changes they have made to S&C etc.
Don’t know, just sceptical about the whole media narrative on this.
Last night it was players will leave if they don’t fix S&C.
Tonight it’s this is what we are going to fix with S&C and we will consult with the players etc.
So then if players stay it’s happy days and everyone says it’s fixed.
I think this is all club driven to control the injury messaging, might raise some money if it’s that desperate too….

We’re overtraining? How the heck can we be overdoing it but still like little twigs that can’t keep up with the league. This is all farking mindblowing but absolutely 0% surprising from the dumbest football club in the world.
Kid trained today on second oval, will report back on how long she is sidelined for.
