He won’t do that whilst he’s employed at a competitor.
The best outcome for Essendon is it does anything it needs to in order to lure Burgess from the Crows.
If Burgess can’t fix it, I don’t know who can.
He’d be the top priority and the best in the industry. It would be the biggest challenge Burgess has faced so such a challenge might be enticing.

I’ve often mentioned the investigation needs to extend to the indoor facility, not just the ovals.
I’ve been in there several times and I was struck by the composition of the surface, its texture and hardness. I often wondered whether the players should be doing as much work on this surface as they did. I actually thought this surface could be a cause for their stress related injuries however, they’ve sorted these out now so who knows. I wonder. I wonder 
What if burgess comes in and the review is done new ovals laid etc and we are still a bunch of cripples will we then accept that the players also play a huge role in it.
I can’t see how the hardest workers are the ones who don’t get injured

I can see a future where we lure Burgess to our club and things get worse and then he leaves.

Adelaide are ■■■■■■■ minnows compared to us. If he can solve this for Essendon and we get success…that would pump up the ego for him.
Plus we give him a blank cheque.
As I said previously, it’s not likely just one or two things. It will be several things.
The investigation needs to identify the injury drivers and then address each driver with an action(s). An assumption already is the Club believe more experienced people are needed to oversee the program. Logically, Burgess would be the top priority as the starting point.
It’s understood he went to the Crows to be able to live back in Adelaide where he’s from and for family reasons.
It’s far from certain Burgess would entertain leaving Adelaide.
In true Essendon fashion, I expect us to appoint someone who has reported into Burgess and put him in charge of the whole thing.

Well, if Burgess won’t leave Adelaide, I’d say getting someone with intimate knowledge of his thinking, philosophy and program would be a pretty good plan B.

Not sure, but I think its a little strange that the media are taking the word of a part time athlete from 4 years ago not knowing the whole story, her “tightness” could have been from improper footwear to all sorts of issues.
If they want to go back years and take someones word, why not quote Adam Cooney -
“Our indoor facility was something Adam was really impressed with because of the sponginess of the floor .”

What about the head bloke from the Melbourne Storm.
Every year they are the fittest club. Players seem to recover from injuries earlier than expected and very few have immediate reoccurrences.
He would certainly build up our body strength

FC reportedly offered him mad money just this past year and he turned it down. He ain’t going anywhere. Not saying its not worth asking the question though.
