International Rules series on TV?

Are the Ireland vs Australia matches going to be on Free-to-air or Foxtel this year?

I can't find it mentioned anywhere on the AFL website,

thx

It shouldn't be.

I'm moderately keen on watching for the first time in forever based on the excellent line up they have put together for the Australian team.

yeah agreed , the lineup has quality

Wasn’t too bad a spectacle imo

Enjoyed it.

Melbourne May no longer be the sporting capital of Austalia.

Packed out Patersons for an international rules game, and couldn’t get 20k people to turn up for a ODI at the MCG? Surprising.

lol.

Fletch was awesome in the last quarter.  Could have been a goalkeeper.

Got nothing else to do in Perth,
To be fair to Melbourne, 24k at the soccer down the road for the visit of an interstate side and cricket has lost its shine a bit. Who wants to pay decent money to see B grade sides running around at the cricket

I really enjoyed it…pity they are only playing one game.

yeah I agree 2 games is the tradition, not sure why they went back to 1 game.

I enjoyed the game, was pretty good to see the dream team line up.

Usually the problem is they can't get enough good players interested, so hopefully it can build some momentum.

If they can keep the "must have been named All-Australian" rule then that will help.

I enjoy gaelic footy. Interested in Luke Hodge's post game comments when he stated that he enjoys the game of gaelic footy.

I know this is the AFL's "baby", but with the round ball and the size/shape of the ground I think it would be interesting to see players from other codes play this game as well, e.g, soccer, rugby.

Yeah, so I really really like AFL.  Great game.

But it's version of international sport would be completely laughable to the lads playing soccer and rugby who actually have real international events to play.  Heck, we can hardly keep our guys interested.

Not bad to watch but don’t see the point in it.bit like our tennis team playing Ireland’s squash team in a game of badminton

Any chance of a replay link?

Cheers.
