Isis

So there were Palestinian Jews but Jesus, who was from Palestine and a Jew, wasn't Palestinian?

Anyway, they should just do a great big genetic sifting and give the whole ■■■■■■■ thing back to the original Peleset. That’ll solve it.

I believe by the time the Romans got there it was called Judaea (whatever happened to the popular front…splitter!)

Same basic way of operating.

Wow.

That right there is pretty mind blowing Icey.

“Pakistan” didn’t exist til what, mid 20th century. Better tell all their soldiers that that means they have no right to fight for anything and probably should cede all their borders and lands to anyone who wants it.

Christ Icey you scare me sometimes with the things you say.

In The Name Of The Most Merciful Allah

“Ye are the best nation that hath been raised up unto mankind: ye command that which is just, and ye forbid that which is unjust, and ye believe in Allah. And if they who have received the scriptures had believed, it had surely been the better for them: there are believers among them, but the greater part of them are transgressors. They shall not hurt you, unless with a slight hurt; and if they fight against you, they shall turn their backs to you, and they shall not be helped. They are smitten with vileness wheresoever they are found; unless they obtain security by entering into a treaty with Allah, and a treaty with men; and they draw on themselves indignation from Allah, and they are afflicted with poverty. This they suffer, because they disbelieved the signs of Allah, and slew the prophets unjustly; this, because they were rebellious, and transgressed.” (Al-Imran - verses 109-111).

If you doubt their own words, ask a member of the PLO, if you can find a live one.

Their ultimate and stated goal is the extermination of Israel.

In fairness Israel seem to be exterminating Palestine. Hard not to see the similarity

Are you really suggesting Israel are that inefficient? If Israel actually wanted to exterminate Palestinians & showed the same regard as Hamas does, its fair to say they could easily accomplish the task. 1 side throws everything they have at whatever they can & actually target civilians knowing they are a better target for their aims & then sacrifice their own civilians knowing it helps their agenda. The other side use a small fraction of their capability & know that every civilian death they can be tied to is used against them.

Hell no, would be terrible for business.

Look at the map Reboot posted a while back. Palestine is pretty much exterminated.

That map is a falacy and a simple lie. You choose to believe it because it suits the narrative you have chosen to listen to.

Could you please provide evidence that the map is wrong?

What was the nation in the land before Israel was formed in 1948, what were they called? Who owned it? What was the flag? What was the constitution? Who were the leaders appointed as government, either by force or by votes?

I will answer that for you, it was Britain. Before that it was the Ottoman Empire and before them the Muslim Arabs from the nomadic regions of Saudi Arabia and Northern Egypt. And before that were the crusades and before them the Romans and before them Israel and before them myriad other people groups (such as the Philistines - that name should be familiar). There has never truly been a Palestinian person, it is a made up name for a people group that comprises many different types of genetics with the main one being Arab.

There was NO Palestine as a nation before 1948. There was a land area that included (not shown on the maps above btw) what is now known as Jordan. I might add that it also included the lands now known as Lebanon.

I will also add that before 1948 there were Jews in Palestine, ones that had been there for 100’s of years and according to Hamas and the PA there should be no Jews in that land because none have ever lived there. They also make the claim that Jesus was a Palestinian, despite He Himself saying He was a Jew.

The narrative is what you choose it to be.

I am done with this btw. It is a wasted discussion. I will stick to talking about IS in here from now on.

Sooooooooo no evidence it is then.

Fierce clashes have raged between rebels and loyalists in southern Yemen, leaving more than 140 dead in 24 hours, as the Red Cross faced delays to urgently needed aid deliveries.

Relief workers have warned of a dire situation in the impoverished Arabian Peninsula state, where a Saudi-led coalition is waging an air war on the Iran-backed Houthi Shiite rebels.

French special forces have freed a Dutch hostage who had been held by an Al Qaeda-linked group in Mali for more than three years.

France’s defence ministry said soldiers found Sjaak Rijke, 54, as they carried out a raid on suspected Islamist militants near Tessalit in north-east Mali.

The Dutch train driver was kidnapped from a hotel while on holiday with his wife in Timbuktu in November 2011.

Kabul, Afghanistan (CNN)The flag is crude, handmade, but the message is clear – allegiance to ISIS in Afghanistan. And the timing – with America withdrawing, the Taliban fractured, young men disillusioned and angry – could not be worse.

A group of fighters in Afghanistan agreed to be filmed by a CNN cameraman parading their ISIS flags in a valley not far to the south of Kabul, the Afghan capital. They are the first images of their kind shot by western media inside Afghanistan.

The rise of ISIS is an issue that the Afghan President, Ashraf Ghani, has termed a “terrible threat.”

U.S. officials CNN has spoken to have voiced their concern about the potential for an ISIS presence.

Just out of interest has Israel been fighting ISIS in Iraq and Syria? Bombings etc?

The US has specifically requested Israel to not be involved in case is sparks a broader war in the region. While Muslims seem more than happy to attack each other, once Israel attacks one group of them the others suddenly become united to combat Israel. The US doesn’t want that happening so have asked Israel to stay away.

“The truth is, Israel would love to be in the coalition,” said Paul Pillar, a former U.S. national-intelligence officer for the Middle East who, now a senior fellow at both Georgetown University’s Center for Security Studies and the Brookings Institution’s Center for 21st Century Security and Intelligence.

“And that would strengthen even more, if it could be done overtly, their argument that they are a strategic asset to the United States,” he said.

But it’s an invitation the U.S. isn’t likely to extend.

“Because of the well-known politics of the Middle East and the continued high salience of the unresolved conflict with the Palestinians, any Israeli involvement in multilateral efforts in that region tends to be counterproductive,” Pillar said, explaining that Israeli involvement could, as during the Gulf War, alienate Arab coalition members.

Now, as the a new coalition decides who will do what in the fight against IS, Reuters has quoted an anonymous Western diplomat who said Israel is providing the United States with satellite surveillance and information on Western citizens who have either joined ISIS or could stage attacks in their home countries.

I don’t imagine Israel would look upon ISIS wandering into their territory too enthusiastically should they ever be so foolish as to do so.

Are you talking about Mandatory Palestine or the State of Palestine (comprising the Gaza Strip and The West Bank) which was declared by the PLO as a government in exile in 1988 in the Oslo Agreement.

The Muslims who chose to live in the Gaza Strip did so at their own volition.

Israel comprises of Mandatory Palestine plus land won in the wars, so in reality all citizens of Israel are Palestinian.

There are 1,365,000 Muslim Palestinians living in Israel which shows they are not particularly worried about living with Jews.

Most of ‘exiles’ left the newly formed state of Israel hoping to ride back in on the backs of the tanks of the seven armies to grab whatever they could from the defeated Jews. Didn’t work out too well.

In other news, HAMAS may have something else to worry about.

ISIS beheaded at least one senior Hamas figure in Yarmouk, which was largely under Hamas influence. The jihadist group views Hamas and the other Palestinian organizations as enemies, because they do not fully embrace jihad according to ISIS’s definition and have not been immediately imposing Islamic Sharia law.

Yarmouk is a Palestinian ghetto in Damascus, Palestinians are not permitted to integrate and are being kept separate for political purposes.

Yarmouk is a Palestinian ghetto in Damascus, Palestinians are not permitted to integrate and are being kept separate for political purposes.

Hamas did the same thing to the PA when they took over Gaza.

AS SYRIA’S First Lady Asma al-Assad is seen hugging children while wearing designer clothes on her Instagram account, Islamic State terrorists have infiltrated a refugee camp just six kilometres from central Damascus — their boldest foray yet into the Syrian capital.

Since 1 April IS militants have been fighting for control of Yarmouk, a Palestinian refugee camp just minutes from the heart of the capital. Overnight, the Syrian government said it will offer military firepower to the Palestinians to help drive IS out of the area.

It comes as the UN Security Council demanded access to help residents and life inside is described as “worse than a big prison” by those that live there.

One man known as Samer told the AFP via Skype: “There was a young man who was killed next to my house by barrel bombs. We picked him up in pieces.” Meanwhile a sniper shot dead a 12-year-old girl who “loved singing, music and playing the drums”.

The IS attack is the latest blow for Yarmouk, which was once a thriving part of the Syrian capital, home to around 160,000 people but has been under siege for two years. Now just 18,000 people live there in a place described as “more desperate than ever” by Pierre Krahenbuhl — leader of the UN agency for Palestinian refugees.

“What civilians in Yarmuk are most concerned about right now is bare survival,” he said. Most already lack basic food, water and medicine in a life that is starkly different to the official version depicted on the Instagram account of the Syrian presidency which has previously been described as a “Marie Antoinette moment” for Asma al-Assad.

The deteriorating situation prompted the UN Security Council to call an emergency meeting on Monday. The group called for lifesaving assistance and safe evacuation for the Palestinians, protection for the refugees, and humanitarian access.

The council also condemned “the grave crimes” committed by the Islamic State group and al-Qaida-linked al-Nusra against civilians in Yarmouk, and said they must not go unpunished.
