I’m a fairly pessimistic fan going into games (can’t be disappointed if you expect to lose!) but after watching the tigers play the bears last week I am pretty confident* that we will win comfortably in a boring slog of a game. 30-60 point margin.

*mostly confident but not completely confident.

I was there that day at Waverley. SMadden took a mark at CHF over Picken. It was a towering mark with Simon virtually standing on Picken’s shoulders, he duly converted the goal. That was the moment l knew the Bombers had arrived as a force to be reckoned with and bound for premiership glory.

Richmond are coming off a 20 goal hammering up in Queensland in the humid weather.

Really, we should beat them by a massive margin tonight. But it’ll likely be another horrible quality 30-40 point win. Would love to be proven wrong though

Wife has single-handedly ensure we have 2 more rate rises with what she purchased at the Southbank DFO today!
Place was absolutely chockers so now relaxing at Melbourne cellar door with a couple of nice bottles of Italian white before deciding when to head down to the MCG.

getting in now before a deluge of rage induced vomit in this thread when its richmond 3.2 to essendon 2.4 at qtr time

it’ll be then dogsht footy between the arcs for the better part of 2 qtrs

we’ll kick away in the last quarter to win by 40ish but people will lament that it “doesnt feel like a win” because the 2000 season is still their only barometer for success
